World FM Day is a “Global FM” initiative to celebrate the importance of the FM profession around the globe. Initiated in 2008, it aims to raise the FM profession profile, promoting facilities management’s ideals, not only within the profession and industry, but also among governments and the general business community. World FM Day takes place in June every year.

The event has succeeded in mobilising hundreds of individuals, companies, associations and partners to celebrate their successes and show the world the important contribution that facilities management brings to the built environment.

In 2015, World FM Day will be celebrated by the facilities management community around the world on 10 June.

This year’s theme is “Building Resilience for the Future”, focusing on facility management’s role in keeping businesses operational through risk mitigation, continuity plans, sustainability and energy management. The goal is to elevate the facility manager’s ability to adapt and respond to shifts in business, politics, energy consumption, extreme weather and challenging economic conditions.

Rosmiman is going to celebrate the FM profession this year in Dubai in an event organised by the MEFMA association and therefore we will take this opportunity to discuss and share both good and challenging experiences, to promote our profession and celebrate our successes together on behalf of the industry!
