Royal Jubilee Hospital uses Rosmiman

Rosmiman® MMS is implemented in the Royal Jubilee Hospital; in Victoria, Canada.

Rosmiman® MMS is implemented in the Patient Care Centre (PCC) at the Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH) in Victoria, Canada. The project was implemented during the end of 2010 to be ready for the 1st of January 2011 when the system went live.

The system has been implemented for Acciona Facility Services, who through its Canadian affiliate AFS Canada has started the Soft Services operations in the new PCC building at the RJH. The PCC, with 500 beds and 37.000 square meters, is the largest project undertaken by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA).

The project undertaken by Rosmiman Software Corporation S.L. consisted in the implementation of Rosmiman® MMS as a facilities management system in order to manage the soft services of AFS; the implementation of a helpdesk for the comprehensive management of corrective maintenance for both, Soft Services handled by AFS and Hard Services handled by ACML. The helpdesk has been complemented with the solution Rosmiman® Mobile that allows answering and solving incidents in a timely manner from any location in the facility using PDA devices.

The helpdesk of Rosmiman® MMS acts as the center of communications for the support of the building, where all maintenance incidents entered in the system are automated. The following are some of the features implemented in this project that has been successfully running for the past few months:

  • Response and rectification times are automatically given to the incidents by the helpdesk according to location and type of service requested following contract SLA specifications.
  • The system automatically notifies the person(s) in charge of a service when a new incident is created.
  • The work orders (derived from the incidents) are automatically allocated to employees for their execution.
  • Rosmiman® Mobile used with PDAs ensures the incidents are taken care of in the shortest possible time.
  • The system alerts the appropriate person(s) when a service request is due to expire to ensure the SLAs are being followed correctly.
  • The helpdesk has been integrated with BedTracking®, system from TeleTracking for the optimization of patient flow and bed turnover.
