ROSMIMAN SOFTWARE CORPORATION donates 6 DELL desktop computers with the collaboration of the Rotary Club Alicante Costa Blanca Civil Association for the Computer Workshop of the Nazaret Foundation in Alicante.
Objective: Help provide technological means to the Nazaret foundation’s computer workshop for the purpose of performing educational tasks at the center and focused on children with social marginalizationproblems.
On December 10, 2015 the ceremony of delivery was held in the Rotary Club Alicante Costa Blanca’s headquarters in which 6 computers were given to the Nazaret Foundation (www.nazaretalicante.es), which is represented by its director Mr. Miguel Ángel Segura.
During this event, we had the opportunity to learn in detail the work being done by the professionals of the Nazaret Foundation in support of hundreds of teenagers in the city.
Mr. Miguel Ángel Segura told us about their achievements but also their current challenges, all of this with joy and dynamism filling us with optimism.
The donated computing equipment is intended to effectively comply with the social work of training and approach to new technologies developed by the Nazaret foundation’s computer workshop, with the aim of reducing the technology gap and bringing IT and telecommunications to a particularly vulnerable group consisting of children and youth at risk and social exclusion.
About The Nazaret Foundation in Alicante:
In September 1957, Fr. Francisco Javier Fontova, founded Nazareth as an initiative to support children with social marginalization problems in Alicante. Since then, Nazareth has been taking shape with specific educational care services, such as flats for children deprived of parental care, family and youth programs and the CAES School (unique educational action centre), in Alicante.
This school, along with the other means of residential care as well as family and youth programs constitute the aid provided by the Society of Jesus in Alicante, to a particularly vulnerable group, children and young people at risk and social exclusion.
